Not every woman you meet is going to want to go out to the clubs every night. There are a lot of women who prefer quiet nights. If you’re dating an introverted woman you might find that it’s difficult to plan things to do that keep her in her comfort zone. This can make things strained between the two of you, particularly if you’re an extrovert. Fortunately there are a few ways you can fix up your dates so that you both enjoy yourselves.
Spend a Night at the Arcade
This may seem like a very bad idea, especially if she’s not much for gaming. You may be surprised. An arcade date can be a lot of fun even if it’s not something she’d do normally. Even if they’re full of people, arcades offer ample opportunities to only interact with each other. The two of you can compete in racing games, shooting games, and sports games. You can also play together as a team to play against other people. Arcades are also a cheap date alternative as $20 can go a long way.
Go For Coffee
Yeah, we know it sounds underwhelming. But if you’re dating a woman who isn’t comfortable in most public venues, a cup of coffee can be the right kind of date. If she’s got a favored coffee spot, let her choose. Otherwise, pick a shop that’s small and out of the way so that it’s not packed with people.
Go to a Live Performance
Even though you’re sitting in a theatre full of other people, live shows don’t require that you interact with other people. Going to see a comedian is a great date choice. So is a magician or a band you both enjoy. Avoid a hypnotist because they draw subjects from the audience. Going to see a play or a musical is a good idea too if you’re both into that kind of thing.
Try Some Friendly Competition
Take her out for a night of pool or bowling. You can join a group of your friends or it can be just the two of you. If you’re out with friends make sure that the two of you are on a team so that she doesn’t feel too uncomfortable.
Spend Time Outdoors
Even if she’s not athletic, an easy hike can be a fun date. Take her to a place that’s scenic and secluded. If you want to make a day out of it you can pack a picnic lunch together. Alternatively, you could take her to the beach for a day of swimming and relaxing. If you’re in a colder climate, spend some time learning to skate, ski, or snowshoe.
Get Your Culture On
It won’t kill you to experience a little culture. If you’re dating an artistic, creative woman, try planning a date to a museum or art gallery. If that’s not your thing you’ll probably be bored out of your skull, so suck it up and pretend. You could also take her out to a zoo or outdoor festival.
