Amusement parks are awesome when you’re a kid. There’s all sorts of stuff to do, delicious yet terrible food, and a million other kids screaming about how great of a time they’re having. Just because you’ve gotten older doesn’t mean that this place is any less fun. As a matter of fact, now that you’re an adult you get to do something that kid-you could never do: bring a date. Bringing a date to an amusement park has a ton of perks that comes along with it. While you might not think of it as a prime spot to go, it’s perfect for date number one or 100.
It’s All About Location
As cheesy as it sounds it’s very true; location is key. While it might seem really convenient to take her to the local fair, you’re only going to hurt yourself. This is of course, if she’s also a local. She’s been there a hundred times before and has memories of being one of those screaming kids. Instead try to go online and see if there are any fairs or amusement parks near you. Even taking a half an hour or hour to go somewhere else will show that you’re putting in more effort and you’ll have more fun overall.
You’ll Learn So Much
Taking a woman to an amusement park or something like it will tell you so much about her that it’s kind of unfair. Watch what she pays attention to.
Women who hint more and more that they love the stuffed animals are probably trying to get you to win one for them. What does that say about her? She’s obviously a hopeless romantic. Think of any romance movie where there’s a guy and a girl at an amusement park. Great, now what’s the first thing he does? That’s right; he shows off how manly he is and wins her a great big teddy bear. In real life that’s not always that easy (since all the games are rigged). But getting her anything will make her feel romantic and she’ll cherish the hustled stuffed animal you got her.
If she’s already making her way to the roller coaster then you’ve obviously got a daredevil on your hands. She loves the thrill of dropping in a rickety old coaster seat. The adrenaline rush isn’t something that she fears, but goes toward. In the future you can plan dates around that. Going out water skiing, climbing, or rock jumping can score you some extra points in the long run.
She’s passed up the roller coaster and opted instead for the Ferris wheel. She might be a little less inclined to get in on a bull run, but she does want to be with around you. Low key dates like watching movies, wandering around together, or taking in a great meal might be more her ticket. Slow the pace down and don’t force her to do anything that she’s not comfortable with. Your date might take it slow but she’ll get to where you want to eventually.
